| Variable         | Used by    | Description                                                                  |
| ---------------- | ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `ACTERA_API_URL` | CLI        | Actera API base URL. Defaults to `https://api.actera.tech`.                  |
| `ACTERA_API_KEY` | CLI and CI | Admin API key. Overrides saved CLI credentials. Keep it in a secret manager. |
| `ACTERA_WEB_URL` | CLI        | Dashboard URL printed after import. Defaults to `https://app.actera.tech`.   |

For local Actera development:

```bash
export ACTERA_API_URL=http://localhost:3002
export ACTERA_WEB_URL=http://localhost:3000
```

The credentials used to mint delegated user tokens belong only in your backend environment. Never expose `ACTERA_API_KEY`, an Actera signing secret, or a connected product credential in browser bundles.
